I'm using, I think, the latest version from the colorvision site which is supposed to support vista x64. However, when I open the program it won't give me a dialogue to select which monitor to use, and while the rest of the system detects the first monitor (Dell U2410), Spyder2Pro only labels it as '1- Generic PNP monitor'.I've tried various things to get around this such as using the windows + shift + right key to get the program onto the right display, however, after calibration is done and I use that profile the results are awful, so I'm not sure what is going wrong.Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I recall (when I was using XP) that Spyder2Pro had a button at the bottom of the calibration screen/menu that said 'switch monitors' or something, or 'Select monitor' but in Windows 7 it's not there.I've also tried running the program in xp sp3 and vista sp2 compatibility mode and neither worked. I am running the program with administrative priveleges to avoid problems with writing the.icm file onto the disk and other errors that seemed to pop up when it wasn't run in admin mode.This is getting frustrating ColorVision also seems to be pushing their spyder 3 line of colorimeters and isn't supporting the spyder2's all that well. Sucks that the software isn't that well supported.My fear is Colorvision will discontinue support for the spyder2 completely and will refuse to update (to force you to buy more spyder 3's?). Colour calibration tools are great since they last so long and you can use them on all your new monitors.

I'm still using my 2405FPW and unfortunately there's no driver support from Dell because coding a 64 bit monitor driver is hard? My guess is the driver wouldn't do anything, but I figure it might help Win 7 detect it.
