When I Search for updated drivers on Windows Update I see Your device is up to date. I had to manuallyfind and download these drivers because there were no generic drivers available from Windows when I ran Update Driver in the first place.Also at the Microsoft article says that additional software is not required for Windows 8 and up although this is obviously not the case with the Windows 10 Creators Update. Okay, I contacted Microsoft support 3 times and had their technicians take control of my computer to try and fix the issue. They uninstalled the device then ran through the steps I've tried and listed above and also blindly googled on forums, so basicallywere no more help than a layman. We tried to find a restore point but there is nothing available.

They seemed to have no knowledge of their own product, with the last guy even insisting that it isn't compatible with anything after Windows 7 although I'veused it without issue up until now. Not sure what to do next.
